The students of the first batch of the B. Tech course at the Waknaghat based Bahra University have bagged a highest salary package of Rs. 10 lakh at a placement drive conducted by the Pune based company Data- 64.
University Vice Chancellor Dr. S.K.Bansal said that on the basis of a written test, group discussion and interview, the company selected 16 B.Tech students from the trades of Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. He said that appointments were made for the posts of Digital Forensic Analysts, CSIRTP, Management Trainee and DEA.
On being highly impressed by the quality of the students the company’s Vice President Rahul Mishra said that Data 64 would once again come to the campus for MBA placements in October for Management Trainee at 4.5 lacs package. He said that it is the first time that the company has picked this number of students from any educational institute in India.
The Director of the placement cell of Bahra University Pradeep Prem said that the students were handed over the joining letters on the spot and were expected to join on the January 1, 2014.
General Manager Ashley Eates, DFA Manisha Sharma and DFA Vivek Pari Budhi of Data 64 were also present for the selection process in Bahra University.
