Punjab’s Technical education minister directs officials to maintain discipline in ITIs

Punjab’s Technical Education and Industrial minister Anil Joshi on Tuesday ordered to maintain strict discipline in ITIs in the state.
Joshi said that he has received some complaints that the officials/employees were not attending their institutions on time that is leading to the disadvantage to trainees.
“To maintain the discipline in ITI, now it has been decided that all Principals will have to send an email to Head office regarding the presence of officials/employees in their institution at 9.15 am daily,” Joshi said, adding that he had also asked the higher officials of the department to fix the responsibility of ITI principals to maintain the discipline in their respective institutions.
Joshi added that if some officials fail to fulfill these directions, strict departmental action will be initiated against such officials and made it clear that if any employee failed to reach at their duty place on time, he/she would face the heat.
