Murder accused facilitates Indian Home minister

Indian Home minister Sushilkumar Shinde was on Saturday facilitated in Solapur by Shankar Mhetre, accused of killing one BJP worker while injuring many others after he allegedly opened fire on an election rally in 2009.
Shinde had arrived in Solapur for the inauguration of a sugar factory where he was facilitated by Mhetre.
Mhetre is the brother of former Congress minister Siddharam Mhetre who was the minister of state for home during the time of the shooting and he had forced to step down from his position after the incident.
The Solapur police had named Mhetre as the prime accused along with others for the murder of BJP worker and injuries several others.
