India, France on Tuesday agree to collaborate in oil & natural gas sector in the country and increase participation of French Oil & Gas companies in Indian hydrocarbon sector.
An Indian government spokesperson said that a delegation led by Ambassador of France Francois Richier called on the Minister of state (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan to discuss cooperation in oil & natural gas sector.
“Both, India and France officials discussed issues of mutual cooperation in the field of oil and Gas and during the meeting, Pradhan emphasized on increase in participation of French oil & gas companies in Indian hydrocarbon sector,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added that the two sides agreed to continue cooperation in all existing areas and explore avenues of cooperation in other possible areas of oil & gas sector.
