Prime Minister Narendra Modi would flag off Delhi-Kathmandu bus service on November 25 during his visit to attend 18th SAARC Summit.
Delhi-Kathmandu bus service is likely to boost India-Nepal ties after the start of first official bus service between the two countries
As per reports, Delhi-Kathmandu bus service is one of three routes that Nepal has proposed for passenger bus service. The other two proposed routes are Varanasi-Kathmandu and Delhi-Pokhara.
Reports suggests that Modi can take road route to travel to Nepal, however, officials say that road trip might be cancelled due to the poor condition of the roads leading to Nepal.
Indian government is also completing formalities to start bus service between Myanmar and Bangladesh.
