HPCA is currently hosting the training camps for U-19 and U-23 teams for the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy and upcoming Col. C K Nayudu trophy matches at Amtar and Bilaspur respectively.
The U-19 camp started today under the supervision of Coach Anuj Pal Dass will continue till 20th November 2014, and U-23 camp ongoing at the Luhnu cricket ground, Bilapsur will continue till 27th November 2014 under the supervision of Coach Krishan Mohan and assistant coach, Rahul Sharma.
The Cooch Behar tournament that started on 1st November consists of four groups; A, B C and D. The team of Himachal plays under group A and will play their third match against Goa on 22nd November, 2014 at Amtar.
BCCI has brought down the upper age limit of C K Nayudu trophy to 23 years from this year. The C K Nayudu Trophy which will begin on 1st December 2014, will see Himachal against Gujarat, Punjab, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh in the four day matches.
These camps will provide special skills and techniques to the boys and will help the teams to form a strategy for the matches.
U-19 Players: Mudit Shukla, Ravi Sharma, Shubham Arora, Arjun Sharma, Ritwij Kashyap, Apoorav Walia, Chahat Malhotra, Lakshay Singh, Ravi Thakur, Ayush Jamwal, Digvijay, Mayank Dagar, Naveen Kumar, Arshlan Khan, Kapil, Ritik Singh, Shubham Negi, Tanmay Salotia, Priyanshu Khanudri, Gaurav Kumar and Kush Pal Singh.
U-23 Players: Munish Chandel, Nakul Raj, Ankit Kaushik, Mohd Azhrudeen, Ekant Sen, Shourya Thalkur, Vinay Galetiya, Shiva Minhas, Ankush Kumar, Roopam Sabharwal, Sheshth Nirmohi, Amit Thakur, Dinesh Kumar, Aatish Bhalaik, Ankush Dhariwal, Rahul Simgh, Praveen Thakur, Vikrant Kumar, Mahesh Thakur and Ankush Bedi.
