Punjab police invites online applications from women for 110 sub inspectors’ posts

Punjab police on Wednesday invited online applications from women for 110 posts of sub inspectors and the last date for submitting applications is December 2, 2013.
A Punjab police spokesperson said that interested women candidates con apply for these posts online by logging onto http://recruitment-cdacmohali.in and the lower age limit is 18 years while the upper age limit is 25 years. Meanwhile, the minimum educational qualification for recruitment is graduation from a recognized university and it is compulsory for each candidate to have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory/ elective subjects passed at the level of Matriculation from a recognized education board/University.
“The candidate should have minimum 5 feet and 3 inches height and only those candidates who fulfill the physical measurement criterion shall be eligible to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test,” said the spokesperson, adding that the applicants, who would qualify the physical test, have to appear for written examination, which will be of hundred (100) marks that will be based on topics viz. general awareness on current national and international issues (terrorism/naxalism in Indian sub-continent), including knowledge about India, and Punjab in particular, general science, information technology and its applications, numerical aptitude, test of reasoning & comprehension etc.
