Punjab govt to conduct TET test on December 28

Punjab government on Monday decided to conduct Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) on December 28 for which online application process will soon be started by state’s Education Department.
Punjab’s Education minister Sikander Singh Maluka said that this time candidates will be allowed to take question paper with them to ensure more transparency and they will also be provided carbon copies of OMR answer sheet.
“The general/Backward Classes candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500 while scheduled caste and disabled candidates will have to pay Rs 300 per paper,” Maluka said, adding that the TET test will be conducted in the evening to facilitate candidates from remote areas.
