Legendary singer Reshma, known for her song ‘Lambi Judai’ died in a hospital in Lahore on Sunday morning where she was undergoing treatment for throat cancer.
As per reports, Reshma was in coma for over a month and she passed away in the hospital early this morning.
Reshma was born in Bikaner in India’s Rajasthan state and she had shifted to Pakistan after partition in 1947. Born in Banjara family of Rajasthan, Reshma was a popular folk singer in both India and Pakistan.
In India, she was known for Lambi Judai song of film Hero and she was diagnosed with throat in 1980’s.
