1128 teachers to be recruited in Punjab

Punjab government on Thursday started the recruitment process to fill 1128 posts of teachers through the Teachers Recruitment Board of Punjab.
Punjab’s Education minister Sikander Singh Maluka said the 264 Headmasters, 764 Subject Teachers will be recruited under RMSA while 10 Principals and 205 posts of PGT lecturers will also be filled in model schools. “In addition, 127 posts of TGT teachers for model schools and 28 subject wise teachers and 20 teachers for Adarsh Schools will also recruited,” Maluka said, adding that the state government is committed to provide quality education to every child and to meet this target Government has already demanded the details of vacant posts in the schools.
