ID cards must to enter Punjab and Haryana high court premises

From now on, litigants and general public will have to carry government approved identification cards to procure visitor’s Radio Frequency Identification Cards (RFID) with which they will be allowed to enter the premises of Punjab and Haryana High court.
“Due to security reasons, from August 26 onwards, the entry of the litigants and general public in the high court premises will be permitted only after checking visitors RFID cards,” said a spokesperson of Punjab and Haryana High court, adding that the visitors RFID Cards shall be issued to the litigants/general public at the gate pass counter in the High Court premises on the production of Government approved identifications like Aadhar Card, Voter Card, Driving License and Identity Card etc.
He added that to avoid inconvenience, the general public/litigants are advised to bring any of the above mentioned Government approved identifications.
