Punjab reserves one seat for Kashmiri migrants in its educational institutes

Punjab government on Saturday announced to reserve one seat for admission in various courses of its educational institutes for Kashmiri migrant students.
“Punjab government has taken this initiative after taking into consideration the guidelines of All India Council for Technical Education and Indian Human Resource Development ministry,” said a spokesperson of Punjab government.
Kashmiri migrant students will be provided reservation in admission into each Engineering, MBA, MCA, M-Pharma, B-Pharma, Hotel Management and Catering Technology courses offered by Punjabi University, Engineering Colleges and Polytechnic Colleges of the state from the current academic session, added the spokesperson.
