Petrol prices hiked by Rs 1.55 per litre

Indian oil companies on Sunday hiked the petrol price by Rs 1.55 a litre on account of rising prices of crude oil in international market and depreciating value of Indian rupee.
The price hike will came into effect from midnight tonight and the actual price will vary in different states after the inclusion of local taxes.
Indian Oil Corporation in a statement said that they have increased the prices of petrol due to fall in the value of Indian rupee against dollar and increase in prices of crude oil in international market.
