Two bomb blasts rock Hyderabad

Thirteen persons were killed while 50 others suffered injuries after three bombs blasts took place in Dilsukh Nagar area of Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh.
Police officials said that first bomb blast took place at Konark Cinema hall while second at Venkatadri Cinema hall in Dilsukh Nagar area. “Around 13 persons have died in the blasts and 2 others have suffered critical injuries. Around 50 others have also suffered injuries in the incident. Ambulance services and fire officials along with police officials have rushed to the spot and are trying to help the injured,” said the police official.
Police officials confirmed that it was an organized terror attack to cause maximum casualties and stated that these were low intensity blasts. Meanwhile, sources said that around 15 persons are feared dead in the blasts. AP Chief Minister, Kiran Kumar has called an emergency meeting to access the situation in the state. Major cities across India have been put on high alert after the attack.
