New university centres to be opened in state: Vice chancellor

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) is going to open new centres in the state to facilitate more and more students, said A D N Bajpai, Vice chancellor of HPU.
While address university officials, A D N Bajpai said that the HP University is going to open the more centres of the University in the state and one coordinator for the ICDEOL will also be appointed at these centres. He also directed to CEO, Finance Officer, Audit Department to solve the problem of ICDEOL on priority basis. Furthermore, new courses should be introduced in the ICDEOL in near future.
Bajpai said that HP University is soon going have its own printing press with own copyrights for printing and publication. He added that a separate publication cell will also be opened for this purpose.
Meanwhile, Director ICDEOL Kulwant Singh Rana apprised VC about the problems of being faced by ICDEOL students related to examinations and other services. He also pointed out the staff problem of teaching and non-teaching in the ICDEOL.
Meanwhile, the university officials said that a meeting was held in university today regarding the examination fee and it was clarified that there was no hike in the examination fee and it remains as it is.
