Five students detained for anti-Modi SMS on Whatsapp in Karnataka

Days after a techie was arrested by Goa police for criticising Prime Minister designate on social networking site Facebook, five students were on Saturday detained by Bengalore police for allegedly circulating anti-Modi SMS on Whatsapp from Bhatkal town in Uttara Kannada district of India’s Karnataka state.
As per reports, out of the five youth who were detained for circulating defamatory SMS on Modi, four were released on Sunday while a case was registered against one Waqas at Khanpur police station in Belgaum district.
