Do you know which is the happiest country on this earth? It is the country of lakes and scenic beauty, Switzerland. Most of the persons living in this country have expressed happiness with their lives. Whereas the second happiest nation of the world is Iceland, followed by Denmark.
The credit of happiness in world’s most happy country (Switzerland) goes to good social life, healthy GDP and better life expectancy. According to annual report published by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), United Kingdom has been judged as the 21st happiest of the 158 nations appearing in the list.On contrary, the world’s least happy countries are places ravaged by war and extreme poverty which include Syria, Burundi and Togo taking their place at the bottom of the 158-nation strong list.
In the list,Denmark has been ranked 3, Norway on fourth place, Canada on the fifth, Finland (6th), Netherlands (7th), Sweden on eighth, New Zealand on ninth and Australia is on tenth place. But is also a fact that list of top ten is dominated by nations which are among the wealthiest in the world too.
