Two Marathi devotees who came from Maharashtra to attend the 88th Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahit Sammelan dedicated to Bhagat Namdev ji on Saturday died of heart at Ghuman in Gurdaspur district of Punjab.
As per reports, the two Marathi devotees identified as Arvind Kulkarni (76) from Nagpur and Krishanaji Ambatkar (64) from Pune died due to heart attack in Ghuman.
Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal deeply mourned the sad demise of two devotees at Ghuman in Gurdaspur who came from Maharashtra to attend the 88th Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahit Samellan dedicated to Bhagat Namdev ji.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described this sad incident as extremely unfortunate and shocking.
He shared his heart felt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty to give strength bear this huge loss and grant eternal peace to the departed souls.
