ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi has died after suffering life threatening injuries in an air strike by the US in March this year, Iranian media reports claimed on Monday.
As per reports, ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi had suffered serious injuries on March 18, 2015 after US led air strikes bombarded Syria’s al-Baaj district in Nineveh region.
Media reports claimed that al-Bagdadi was undergoing treatment for injuries to which he had reportedly succumbed to, though there was no official confirmation on his death.
ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi was reportedly not in-charge of the daily operation of terrorist outfit since the air strike on March 18.
Now a former physics teacher Abu Alaa Afri is reportedly heading the operations of terrorist outfit and he had earlier served as deputy to al-Bagdadi.
