Indian ministers to visit UP to access crop damage

A Central team consisting Indian government ministers Nitin Gadkari, Ananth Kumar, Ram Kripal Yadav and Haribhai Parthibhai chaudhary would visit Uttar Pradesh on April 7, 2015 to crop damage in recent rains.

A spokesperson of Indian government on Monday said that a Central team would make a one-day visit to UP to access crop damage in recent rains on April 7.

“The team consisting of Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping, Ananth Kumar, Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Ram Kripal Yadav, MoS for Drinking Water and Sanitation and Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary, MoS for Home Affairs would visit some areas in Uttar Pradesh to take stock of the situation caused by damage to crops during the recent rains,” the spokesperson said.

Indian government spokesperson added that the districts to be visited include Agra, Meerut and Aligarh.
