ICC asks Anurag Thakur to refrain from socialising with bookie

International Cricket Council (ICC) have reportedly issued warning to BCCI Secretary and BJP MP Anurag Thakur to refrain from socialising with an alleged bookie after he was spotted him in an event.

As per the of English Newschannel, ICC’s Anti Corruption & Secutiry Unit (ACSU) has reportedly spotted Anurag Thakur, who is also the HP Cricket Association chief, with a suspected bookie.

Reports say that Anurag Thakur was spotted socialising with a Chandigarh based bookies, however, the motives of these social meetings have remained unknown.

ICC’s Anti Corruption & Secutiry Unit had reportedly informed the incident to BCCI chief Jagmohan Dalmiya and had written to him to urge Thakur to refrain from having relations with bookies.

Anurag Thakur was reportedly seen celebrating some occasion with the bookie, the suspected bookie in the pictures that ACSU had in possession and he is seen offering cake to BCCI Secretary.
