Haryana: Woman accuses IAS officer of rape

A woman has accused Haryana IAS officer of raping her on the pretext of marriage and even forcing her to abort twice in the last few years.

As per report, the woman, hailing from Panipat district of Haryana alleged that she was raped by IAS officer S N Roy who is posted with Urban Local Bodies department in Panipat as Principal Secretary.

The woman also released an MMS of her with the IAS officer S N Roy in which the two are seen dancing in a hotel.

The victim alleged that she had reported the matter to DIG, IG but no action has been taken in this regard so far against the IAS officer.

“The IAS officer sexually abused me on the promises of marriage and even forced me to abort twice,” the woman alleged, adding that Roy refused to marry her despite her repeated requests.

“I had reported the matter to DGP on February 2 but no case was filed against S N Roy so far, neither any action had been initiated against him,” she added.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar assured of impartial investigation in the case and said that a case would soon be registered in this regard.
