An earthquake of 7.9 intensity on Richter scale has claimed more than 700 deaths so far in Nepal, various media reports have claimed.
The earthquake that struck Nepal on Saturday have destoroyed several government buildings, private houses besides claiming lives of scores of people in Nepal. Experts have issued advisory to the people to stay away from the unsafe structures as aftershocks are expected to continue in the vicinity of the epicentre.
According to media reports, the earthquake also triggered avalanche surrounding the Mount Everest ( Highest peak of the world), which claimed 8 lives.
