304 Assistant Commandants to be recruited in Central Armed Police Forces

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) would fill 304 Assistant Commandants (ACs) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) for which written test would be held on July 12, 2015.

A UPSC spokesperson said that under the CAPFs ACs recruitment 2015, 304 Assistant Commandants would be recruited in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

“Out of 304 Assistant Commandants (ACs), 28 vacant posts would be filled BSF, 94 in CRPF, 37 in CISF 37, 107 in ITBP and 38 in SSB,” the UPSC spokesperson said.

UPSC spokesperson said that interested candidates would require to apply online only by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in. “Candidates can apply for these posts till May 15, 2015 after which the link would be disabled,” the spokesperson said.

“Only Indian national except with the consent of the Central Government signified in writing be appointed or employed under these Rules and both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply for CAPFs ACs recruitment,” the spokesperson said.
