ISIS militants nothing more than rapists, murderers: Asaduddin Owaisi

North Gazette News/Hyderabad
Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday termed ISIS militants as nothing more than rapists and murderers and said that the terrorist group had nothing to do with Islam religion.

Asaduddin Owaisi condemned the killings by ISIS militants and said that the terrorists have done nothing for the religion of Islam and they had merely raped and murdered people.

Asaduddin Owaisi said that ISIS activities have nothing to do with Islam or Islamic teaching.

While addressing a press conference on the occasion of centenary death anniversary of Hazrat Anwarullah Farooqui who had founded Jamia Nizamia, a 144-year-old institution of Islamic studies, Owaisi said that ISIS had killed and raped people but they carried out these killings in brutal manner.

“ISIS militants have burnt a person alive which is against the teachings of Islam,” Owaisi said, while condemning the horrific executions by the terrorist organisation.

Owaisi added that Islamic scholars of various schools of thought across the world have condemned the way ISIS have slaughtered people and raped women and children.

“Such brutal and horrific killings have to be condemned by one and all,” he added.

Answering a query on some youth from Hyderabad reportedly trying to join ISIS, Owaisi added that youth should not break law and instead should consult with religious scholars before taking such extreme step.
