Sanjay Dutt's furlough request rejected, asked to surrender

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s furlogh request has been rejected by Maharashtra government and Dutt has been reportedly asked to surrender at Yeravada Jail today.

As per reports, Sanjay Dutt had sought extension to his 14-day furlough and the same has been rejected which would result in the actor returning back to Yevada Jail.

Earlier, Sanjay Dutt had filed application for furlough extension for 14 days and no decision was taken on his release till January 8, 2015, the scheduled date on which he had to surrender before police at Yeravada Jail.

Sanjay Dutt had returned to Yeravada Jail on January 8, 2015 to surrender as he was not told about the decision on his application for furlough extension. But he was asked b y Jail authorities to return home till a decision is taken on his application.

Sanjay Dutt was granted 14 day furlough for Christmas and New Year on December 24, 2014 after which he had applied for extension for another 14 days.
