Rs 2 crore ATM cash van heist in Mumbai

A security guard along with his three associates robbed Rs 2 crore from ATM cash van that was going to load cash in ATMs in Vile Parle in daring broad daylight ATM cash van heist in Mumbai in Friday afternoon.

As per reports, the ATM cash van heist in Mumbai seems to be assisted by Sadre Alam, a security guard with Lower Parel based security company after he allegedly sedated three other associates with drug laced tea.

“Alam allegedly asked the driver of ATM cash van at Worli on the pretext of some urgent work after which he gave tea that was laced with sedatives. By the ATM cash van reached Vile Parle, two employees had already dosed off while the driver was feeling drowsy when suddenly a car stopped in front of van,” police said.

Police said that three armed man came out of the car and robbed Rs 2 crore from ATM cash van with the help of Alam. Alam along with his three associates reportedly fled from after the ATM cash van heist in car.

Police have registered a case in this regard and a hunt is on to nab the trio for Rs 2 crore ATM cash van heist in Mumbai.
