Petrol and diesel prices has been further slashed by Rs 2.42 per litre and Rs 2.25 a litre. The decision was taken here on Friday as global crude prices slumping to six-year low. Both petrol prices have been slashed for the ninth time since August last year, fifth time for diesel. The new rates will be effective from midnight today.
The petrol will cost Rs 58.91 a litre in Delhi, as compared to Rs 61.33 a litre now. Diesel will cost Rs 48.26 a litre in Delhi, the as against current price of Rs 50.51.
