Now Unemployed teachers in HP decided to approach Supreme Court over PTA regularisation

After the notification of state gnovernment to take over the services of PTA teachers as contract, the unemployed teachers have decided to move the Supreme Court (SC) against the state government on January 15.

Unemployed teachers Union alleged that these teachers were appointed by school managing committees and were not fulfilling the norms.
State president of the union Vijay Singh said that the move to regularise the PTA teachers was illegal and unfortunate. He said that these teachers were appointed as ‘stop-gap teachers’ till regular teachers were appointed. Union alleged that these appointments were backdoor and can not be regularised.
