The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (J.S.S.C.) has invited online applications for the recruitment of 2204 post of forest guard through Jharkhand Forest Guard Competitive Examination-2014 (JFGCE 2014) from the eligible candidates. The closing date for submission of online applications has been extended upto January 15,2015.
The minimum age for the candidates is 18 Years, while the maximum age has been fixed for 35 Years for General, 37 Years for OBC, 38 Years for SC/ST category candidates####.
HOW TO APPLY
The online application shall be at www.jssc.in. The link will remain active upto 15-01-2015. The filling of online application contains two parts which include-Part I is Registration process.
In Part I (Registration I) – candidate will have to fill basic information. On submission of details, candidate will be prompted to check the details and make correction, if any. Candidate has to give his e-mail id and Mobile number. The application procedure will be incomplete without Part II Registration. Part II Registration II (Filling of payment details & Image/Signature upload) Candidates have to pay application as per directions given in website. Payment of application fee can be made in the following modes of payment.
1. Bank of India Challan payment.
2. Online Credit card/Debit card/Net banking Payment.
Candidate has to upload scanned copy of his signature and photo.
Before filling the application online, please go through the prospectus. It is the responsibility of the candidate that he/she fulfils all requirements as notified.
Ensure that yo u possess the prescribed minimum educational qualification and fulfil all conditions for the post applied for.

Rupees 125/-(One Hundred and Twenty Five only) for SC/ST candidates who are
local resident of Jharkhand. For all other category, the examination fee is Rupees 500/- (Rs. FiveHundred only).
For depositing the examination fee the candidate has to fill in the online application form and subm it it through the online registration portal. On successful registered candidate will be directed to payment portal and it will have option for off line payment or on line payment. If a candidate opts for off line payment mode, then print out of bank challan should be taken and the fee should be
deposited in any branch of BOI, after filling up the challan. Bank will put the transaction no on challan. Four days after payment by challan, visit the site and log in and you will be directed to page for upload ing the photo and signature. After uploading the same, you will be able to take the print out. For candidates, who opt for online payment, after payment, upload the photo and signature and take the print out.
Please note that those candidates, who do not deposit examination fee, will not be allowed to appear in examination and their application will be treated as invalid.
