After much controversy over the release of Hollywood film based on North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un, Sony has announced to release ‘The Interview’ film in US on Christmas.
As per reports, Sony Pictures had decided to release the film ‘The Interview’ by ignoring threats of hackers who had stolen important data from Sony Studio and its top executives.
Sony had earlier declined to release the film on threats of terror attacks in theaters where movies would be screened.
US President Barack Obama who had earlier criticised Sony for not releasing the film, welcomed the move and said that it would promote free speech.
The Interview is a satirical comedy film based on two US journalists who plans to assassinate North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un.
