Pak Taliban chief Maulvi Fazlullah killed in air strike, reports

Pak Taliban chief Maulvi Fazlullah has been reportedly killed in drone attack, reports claimed on Saturday.

As per reports, Pakistan’s Defence ministry claimed on its Twitter handle that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan chief Maulvi Fazlullah has been killed in an air strike by Pakistani Air Force jets in Pakistan.

‘It is again hereby being confirmed that the operation has been carried out in Kunar district of Afghanistan’, Pak Defence ministry said on its Twitter handle.

Media reports say that Maulvi Fazlullah was in contact with Peshawar school attackers from Afghanistan on December 16, 2014.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Army had killed at atleast 67 terrorists in a country wide operation.

So far Pak Army had killed 124 militants after the deadly attack on Peshawar Army School in which 141 people including 132 school children were killed.
