Mohammad Farooq, the oldest litigant in Babri Masjid case dead

Mohammad Farooq, the oldest litigant in the Babri Masjid case died at the age of 100 due to old age related diseases.

As per reports, Mohammad Farooq died on Wednesday evening in Faizabad and was buried in the graveyard close the disputed site of Babri Masjid.

Farooq’s father Mohammad Jahoor was one of the original complainant in Babri Masjid case after Lord Rama idols were placed in 1949.

Farooq was one of the seven litigants which includes Hashim Ansari, Ashhad Rashidi, Maulana Mahfuzurur Rahman, Mufti Hasbullah, Mahmud and Sunni Central Waqf Board from Muslim side in the Babri Masjid case
