HP govt to regularise PTA teachers with seven years' service

In a major relief to PTA teachers deployed in the state, Himachal government on Wednesday announced to regularise services of PTA teachers who have completed seven years’ service instead of eight years.

A Higher Education department official said that the orders have been issued on the directions of Additional Chief Secretary (Education) in this regard.

“The state government is planning to take over the services of all those PTA teachers who have completed seven years instead of eight years,” the official said.

He said that Principals of all schools have been directed to send the requisite information as per the performa enclosed in r/o all PTA (GIA) provided Lecturers/ DPEs to the Dy Director concerned by December 26, 2014 (AN) through special messenger with all relevant documents.

He added that the Principals have been intimated that the particular already submitted as per this Directorate letter December 10, 2014, need not to send again.
