Bihar Panchayat orders gangraped girl to take Rs 50000, abort child

A Bihar Panchayat has ordered a girl aho was gangraped by four brothers and had now become seven months pregnant to take Rs 50,000 and abort the child.

As per reports, the minor girl was allegedly raped by four brothers seven back after which she had become pregnant.

“As the girl became pregnant, she narrated the incident to her mother after which they approached Panchayat of Packola Palashmani village of Bihar’s Kishanganj district,” police said.

But the panchayat members told her to take Rs 50,000 and abort the child, to which she refused. Later, the girl along with her mother approached the police.

A case has been registered in this regard and a hunt is on to nab accused.

The 16-year-old girl is the daughter of migrant labourer who works in Rajasthan to support his family of six members.
