Assembly elections update of J&K and Jharkhand: Polling percentage of fourth phase

The assembly election in fourth phase were held peacefully on Sunday in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and Jharkhand. Women outnumbered men in casting their votes in the fourth phase of the assembly elections of Jharkhand, while no untoward incident was reported in J&K. In J&K assembly elections were held for the 18 seats on Sunday.

Sources said that more than 61 per voters cast their votes in the 15 assembly segments that went to the polls in Jharkhand. Chankayari witness highest polling percentage with 71.28 per cent, followed by 70.2 per cent in Madhupur.
