North Gazette News/New Delhi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reportedly planning to rope in Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachhan to rescue government on minorities’ conversion issue in an ad campaign.

As per English newspaper Indian Express report, the ad campaign is the brainchild of Modi and the Indian Prime Minister had himself called up Amitabh Bachhan to promote secular image of Centre government.

The ad campaign would focus on secular image of Modi government and would stress on the need to rise above caste and religious lines to ensure inclusive development of India.

Besides this, Modi government is planning to reach out minorities communities in the country amid daily reports of re-conversion of minority people by RSS affiliated Hindu organisation.

As part of Modi government’s new strategy to promote secular image of BJP led NDA government, Indian Minority Affairs Minister (State) Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi would visit areas having high minority population and where conversion of minorities had taken place in the recent months.

Media reports suggests that Naqvi is likely to start the campaign from Kerala, having high population of minority Christian community.

BJP and Modi has been under attack from opposition parties over minorities’ conversion issue and the functioning of Parliament was stalled over the issue for many days.
