Dharam Jagran Manch, an offshoot of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Tuesday re-converted 28 Christian families to Sikhism at a ceremony organised in a Gurudwara in Punjab’s Amritsar district.
As per reports, 128 persons belonging to 28 Christian families were re-converted into Sikhism. These persons had converted into Christianity from Sikhism few years back.
Dharam Jagran Manch reportedly claimed that 28 Christian families were re-converted into Sikhism after they expressed desire to return to their native religion with their office bearers.
A ceremony was held in Gurudwara Shiromani Shaheed Jeevan Singh in Amritsar were these 128 persons were re-converted.
The re-conversion ceremony included chanting of Japji Sahib and a Sikh hymn after which they were given Sikh religious leaders amulets and Sikh Holy booklets.
