Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wife Jashodaben has filed RTI query with Gujarat police on security cover provided to her.
As per reports, Jashodaben had filed RTI with Mehsana police for clarity on security cover and her rights as far as her security aspect is concerned.
Jashodaben was given security cover after PM Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014. She had been provided with police personnel including armed guards who works in two shifts.
“Modi’s wife Jashodaben has sought documents from the police department regarding the protocol, certified copy of actual order passed by government about providing security and about laws and provisions in Indian Constitution about security cover given to a PM’s wife,” reports say.
Mehsana SP J R Mothalia said that Jashodaben would be given reply on RTI query soon.
It is pertinent to mention here that Jashodaben lives with her brother Ashok Modi at Unjha town of Mehsana district.
