Impressive beating retreat ceremony by Pak at Wagah Border after suicide attack

Pakistani Rangers on Monday held an impressive Beating Retreat ceremony on Wagah Border, a day after suicide attack in which 57 persons lost their lives, and allowed from than 3,000 people to watch the ceremony.

Earlier, Pakistani Rangers had cancelled the ceremony and had expressed inability to hold the ceremony for three days


Pakistan Rangers official said as the evidence was collected from the blast site and it was cleared by the security forces, the decision to hold the ceremony was reviewed.

With slogan shouting on Pak side by the visitors, BSF officials seemed unhappy with the sudden request on holding the ceremony as Indian side was completely deserted.

However, there were reports that intelligence agencies had averted a major attack on Pakistan side as huge cache of arms and explosives was recovered from near the Wagah Border on Monday.
