Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda on Saturday said that he would give equal treatment to every state but Himachal would certainly get his special attention.
JP Nadda who was in Shimla on two-day visit after assuming charge, said that he would not differentiate on political lines with any state
and he would try to give health sector a new direction in the country.
Nadda said that Achhe Din (Good days) have come in country under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Modi had given me great responsibility to me and I will work hard to live upto PM’s expectations,” he said.
Union Health minister said that right now, he had many assignments including J&K assembly elections and party works. But in next 15 days he would study the challenges in the health sector in the country and would fix his priorities.
“As per Modi’s vision, my priority would to ensure healthy life for all the people of the country. I would try to work out a multi-dimensional approach with focus on preventive and curative aspects in the health department,” he added.
JP Nadda added that Modi government was responsive and pro-active and it had given new direction and confidence to the country.
