Android app 'RTI Guru' launched for filing RTI queries

Filing an RTI to get information from government is all set to become easier with Android mobile app ‘RTI Guru’. The RTI Guru app is available for download on Google Play store.

Developed by Jakir Hussain College’s Assistant Professor, Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, the mobile application would provide its users the freedom file queries on the go


As per the description of RTI Guru app (Click here to download app) that is available on Google Play, the app contains all information related to Right to Information Act (2005).

The mobile applications also include all information on RTI Act 2005 that is available in Chapter-wise form also with an exhaustive guide.

Besides this, the app contains links to various important website that are important for any RTI activist or casual user. The Government websites, Ministries, Central Information Commission, Recent decisions by CIC, State Chief Information Commissioners etc.

You can also apply RTI Online through this app. Before applying RTI, kindly go through Guidelines and FAQ.

Some sample RTI formats are also available (both in Hindi and English) for users and starters.

The best feature of this app is RTI manager. In this Manager you can store information related to your RTI for ready reference.
