Now flying cars to be a reality soon

Slovakian Company AeroMobil would soon launch flying car that can transform into an airplane from an automobile car, giving you the ultimate freedom to move.

As per the description given the company’s website, the company has developed a flying car prototype AeroMobil 3.0 that can perfectly makes use of existing infrastructure created for cars and planes which open the doors to real door-to-door travel.

“As a car it fits into any standard parking space, uses regular gasoline, and can be used in road traffic just like any other car. As a plane it can use any airport in the world, but can also take off and land using any grass strip or paved surface just a few hundred meters long,” according to

The AeroMobil 3.0 has now been finalised and the flying car has been in regular flight-testing program in real flight conditions since October 2014.

The AeroMobil 3.0 is predominantly built from advanced composite material. That includes its body shell, wings, and wheels. It also contains all the main features that are likely to be incorporated into the final product, such as avionics equipment, autopilot and an advanced parachute deployment system, the website says.

AeroMobil 3.0 also implements a number of other advanced technologies, such as a variable angle of attack of the wings that significantly shortens the take-off requirements, and sturdy suspension that enables it to take-off and land even at relatively rough terrain.

The flying two-seater car engine flaunts Rotax 912 engine, collapsible Wings with a top speed of 200 km/h and more (124 mph and more), minimum speed of 60 km/h (40 mph) and it requires a take-off speed of 130 km/h (90 mph). It can travel upto 700 km (430 miles) in one go with a fuel consumption 15 l/h.

While on road, the car isn’t a bad performer on road either as it can attain a top speed of 160 km/h or more (100 mph and more) with a fuel consumption of 8 l/100 km.

The flying is made of steel framework with carbon coating with a dimension of, 8320 mm width and 6000 mm in length while on roads.
