Maruti Suzuki, the leading car manufacturer in India has launched the new version and updated version of Alto K10.
The new version of K10 have both, cosmetic as well as mechanical upgrades. Maruti Suzuki has updated the cabin which include changes in dashboard, control board and others.
The exterior changes in the Alto K10 include new chrome front grille, revised head & tail lights, re-designed bumpers and some more. It’s height has been increased a bit, while the overall length has been reduced .It would be available in six models including the new feature of passenger air bag for the driver in top model.
Alto K10 has six different variants and the ASG option is available only with the top end. Maruti has introduced its automated-manual transmission – better known as AMT – in the K10 model of the Alto for the first time.
This new Alto K10 lighter in weight almost 75 kilograms than old model, thus increasing the fuel efficiency. Speaking of the engine, it has been made more refined by making the gearbox more responsive.
