Five Solan boys killed in car accident near Jhakri in Shimla

Five boys from Solan district were killed when the car in which they were traveling rolled down in 700 feet deep gorge at Kashmiri Crusher near Jhakri area of Shimla district on Tuesday.

As per reports, the boys along with five other companions were going to Bhima Kali Temple at Sarahan and they started their journey in morning after night stay at Jhakri.

“As they started the journey on Tuesday, the driver identified as Sandeep (21) might have accidentally applied wrong due to which rolled into gorge. Their companions informed the police after they noticed the vehicle rolling down after which rescue teams were rushed to the spot,” police said.

Police said the car was completely torn in the fall and the bodies of the boys were found in mutilated condition which were handed over to their relatives after postmortem.

“The deceased have been identified as Anil (18), Sudhir (21), Kuldeep (20) and Jagdish (18) and these youth were the residents of Ochhghat area of Solan district. A case has been registered in this regard and further investigations in the matter,” added the police.
