New Delhi/October 19 (NG News)
Riding on strong Modi wave, BJP is heading for clear majority in Haryana while the party may fall short of magic mark in Maharashtra in the initial trends of counting of votes for recently held assembly elections in India’s two states.

As per the initial trends, BJP is leading on 45 seats in Haryana followed by INLD on 19 seats, Congress on 14 while others are leading on 12 seats.

On the other hand, BJP is leading on 113 seats in Maharashtra and seems to be falling short of magic figure of 145 seats in the state. Shiv Sena has emerged as second largest party in the state with leads on 60 seats in initial seats, followed by Congress on 46 seats, NCP on 45 seats, MNS on 4 seats while others are leading on 21 seats.
