Indian Commerce and Industry ministry, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion on Friday extended the time limit for registration and submission of claims in District Industries Centres under Central Capital Investment Subsidy Scheme (CCISS)-2013 till August 31, 2014.
A spokesman of the Industries department said that the time limit for registration and submission of claims had been extended in respect of enterprises which commenced commercial production after January 7, 2013 but not registered with the concerned Centres due to non existence of package during the intervening period or had not submitted claims within one year of the date of commencement of commercial production. He said that such units could do so upto August 31, 2014.
He said that all eligible industrial enterprises including Eco-Tourism enterprise such as hotels, resorts, spa, entertainment or amusement parks and ropeways were also required to register under Central Capital Investment Subsidy Scheme-2013 with the concerned District Industries Centre for availing benefit of 15 percent Capital Investment Subsidy.
