Thakur and Attri had challenged the orders and had filed a review petition in District and Sessions Court and the Court has also sought the lower court to submit all the records pertaining to the case with it. The Court has posted the matter for next hearing on September 10, 2014.
The case pertains to obstructing a public servant from discharging his duty and the Thakur and Attri had sought exmption from personal appearance in the court. The CJM court had issued non bailable warrant against them for failing to appear before the court for want of some documents.
Thakur had sought exemption from personal appearance on the ground that he is unable to appear before the court as monsoon session of the Parliament was in progress at that time while Attri had cited some medical reasons.
