BJP, allies crosses majority mark in initial trends

BJP led NDA has crossed the majority mark of 272 Lok Sabha seats in the initial trends with the alliance leading on 289 seats across the country as per the latest reports.
BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is leading from Vadodara seat by a huge margin of over 1.50 lakh votes while Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is trailing from Amethi seat where BJP candidate Smriti Irani leading in initial trends.
Besides this, BJP has opened his account by winning Baghpat where former Mumbai commissioner Satyapal Singh has beaten its rival RLD chief Ajit Singh.
