Punjab government on Saturday proposed to pay Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery and National Rural Health Mission employees’ salaries at par with regular employees but the announcement comes with added condition. It is subject to the condition that Central Government gives its due share of 75 percent for paying salaries to ANM/NHRM employees.
Punjab government spokesperson said that State Cabinet would send a proposal in this regard to centre government to hike in their salaries. If the decision will be implemented ANM employees would get a salary of Rs 20,000 per month. Similarly other employees of NRHM would be benefited.
